Integrations that reduce the noise of video analytics and enhance real-time video monitoring services with AI detection.

Shreveport, LA, USA March 1st, 2023 – CHeKT, Inc. is pleased to announce integrated partnerships with several of the leading Artificial Intelligence companies for video AI detection, including Camect, IronYun, AVA, Cawamo, and VCA Technologies.  These new partnerships will allow CHeKT Visual Security installation companies to offer video alarm monitoring with advanced false alarm filtering and reduce the number of false alarms that occur during the real-time remote video alarm response.

CHeKT’s Director of Operations, David Erickson, said, “The addition of AI filtering for false alarm reduction will ensure high-level accuracy of transmitted critical event video to monitoring stations, giving security dealers sophisticated solution sets for intelligent video alarm monitoring and content filtering. The integrations will also improve the usability of CHeKT’s camera-agnostic platform by adding high-level video AI to cameras, providing active and accurate AI video into alarm monitoring stations for a real-time response.”

These integrations provide significate usability with CHeKT’s camera-agnostic platform and transmission into video alarm command centers. Where previously, CHeKT’s video alarm delivery was dependent on the edge-based analytics rules of cameras or traditional sensors, these new integrations will allow for high-level video AI to be added to cameras.  Security companies can now provide active and accurate AI video detection and push the AI detection right into their alarm monitoring stations for a real-time response. CHeKT’s integration with alarm-receiving center software platforms gives these AI partners a pathway into alarm monitoring centers across the globe. See the full list of integrated automation platforms here.

The AI integrations will directly benefit alarm dealers, central stations, and their customers by creating AI detection zones for the customer’s video security system. Security companies can define specific AI rules and filters to create a burglary alarm signal. When these AI rules are activated, CHeKT sends a video alarm signal to the alarm monitoring center and a push notification to the customer in the CHeKT mobile app, allowing the responding agent and customer to engage in real time.

CHeKT’s technology turns advanced analytics and leading-edge AI solutions into proactive video monitoring and response systems.  “We believe that with the improvements in video analytics and video alarm AI capabilities, consumers expect that security companies should provide a proactive and real-time response to AI detection.  CHeKT is perfectly positioned to ensure these expectations are achieved and met,” said Erickson. “The accurate detection of a crime shouldn’t just land on a video recorder.  It belongs in front of a responding security agent in real-time.”  By using the Optex Video Bridge, powered by CHeKT’s cloud-based video delivery technology, video AI detection and response services of a potential crime in progress is possible in any alarm monitoring center.

AI and Deep Learning technologies have proven to reduce false alarms and negate the time required to process unnecessary video event delivery. By using these integrated AI partners, central stations can spend more time examining legitimate critical events. This efficiency optimizes central station resources and provides security companies with the confidence needed to consistently communicate the benefits of their Video Alarm Monitoring services and avoids unnecessary customer engagement.

“We’re excited to be working with partners who share our core values of integrating sophisticated technologies that consumers expect in this new era of video security. CHeKT’s technology and our growing list of industry partnerships have proven to deliver measurable efficiencies for dealer adoption of managed video services across sales, installation, and support departments. We’re dedicated to providing the resources dealers ask for to succeed in the video verification space to grow their businesses, and deliver world-class security solutions well beyond the ceiling of blind alarms”, says John Milliron VP of Sales for CHeKT.

“We believe this AI integration gives security companies an intelligent video alarm detection system, which is what the customers are demanding, said Milliron. “Providing customers with a video monitoring service that reduces the false alarm dispatch rate and more importantly leads to a priority police response and higher apprehension rates on true alarms. The addition of these partners demonstrates further our commitment to meeting the market requirements for intelligence and efficiencies for stakeholders.”
