Enhancing Dealer Capabilities with Premier Dealer Plans

CHeKT is committed to creating the most powerful visual security solution available to professional security companies like yours. With growing competition from DIY products and the increased entrance of big tech like Google and Amazon, security dealers need video security systems that not only matches these competitors but surpass them.

CHeKT is excited to announce a series of new feature releases that will expand the capabilities of the CHeKT Visual Security platform and our service offerings. These new features will provide security companies with tools to improve the security services they provide and give our CHeKT video monitoring center partners with enhanced monitoring tools. Many of these updates will roll out over the next 12 months. Most immediately, dealers will see the release of Automation Rules, Increased Cloud-storage capabilities, Cloud-APIs for 3rd party integrations, and new CHeKT Cloud-based AI Filtering for true Human and Vehicle detection.

While these new plans do have a monthly dealer cost, the plans are aimed at reducing the site-by-site expenses and providing you with powerful new features.

You will notice the new plan options when you log in to your CHeKT Dealer account. Please take a moment and review the options of each service plan and the new features available in upcoming development.

For our security dealer partners who pay for CHeKT services directly, you can access the new features by upgrading your dealer account through the CHeKT portal. For our security dealers billed for CHeKT services through your monitoring center, you will need to contact your monitoring center and request an upgrade to your dealer account.

Dealers who remain on their current plan can continue utilizing many of their CHeKT platform’s existing features. Existing site settings and billing will remain the same; new sites will be restricted to the Standaard plan feature set.

Once a dealer account is upgraded, features will be unlocked, and additional features will be available as they are rolled out.

As a part of these new service plans and the new features they offer, we are also reducing complexity in of itemized charges. In the new plans, dealers will no longer be charged for Audio Talk-down services. A standard number of video events is included in the Bridge connection rate, and Remote Device Connection sessions are included at no additional site cost. All this is intended to simplify the per-site billing, allowing dealers to estimate costs for new CHeKT accounts. In addition, both plans will include longer storage time of video events and a base amount of Cloud AI-filtered events at no additional cost, with the ability to purchase additional AI events if needed.

With the release of our dealer-level plans, the following features will only be available for dealers who upgrade to one of the new plans.

  • Site Level Automation Rules
  • Dealer Level Event Map Monitoring
  • Bridge Level Local API Access

Over the next several months, additional features will be rolled out and made available to dealers who have upgraded to the early access plans.

As a part of these plans and the new services they offer, they will also reduce complexity in the current site-by-site cost structure for CHeKT sites. Of course, we know that it’s never a pleasure to hear about a product’s price increase that we’ve become accustomed to. Therefore, we are pleased to offer some of our existing paid services in these new plans at no additional cost.

In the new plans, dealers will no longer be charged for Audio Talk-down services. What are the benefits of changing plans?

The new dealer plans will offer powerful features to help you change your security offerings to customers, such as Automation Rules, AI filtering, API Integration, and customer-facing tools like Alarm Incident reporting and a payment portal.

If we upgrade or dealer plan, can we roll back to the free plan?

Yes. Dealers who upgrade to one of the premier plans can downgrade back to the standard dealer plan.

What happens if I don’t change my existing plan?

Security companies who do not wish to change their plan can remain on the current Basic plan and maintain their existing experience. However, you cannot access the new features of CHeKT as they are developed and officially released.

If you choose not to upgrade at this time, you can upgrade your account at any time in the future.
