Guardian Alarm Systems partnered with the franchise owner to design a scalable security solution that could be replicated across multiple store locations. At the heart of the design was CHeKT’s Proactive Visual Verification, powered by the CHeKT Video Control Panel, which seamlessly connected the store’s existing alarm panel to a new video surveillance network.
Cameras were strategically positioned above registers, at entrances, in parking areas, and other high-priority zones, giving operators a clear view of events as they unfolded.
Each camera was mapped to alarm panel zones, allowing monitoring operators to view live video during panic or intrusion alarms. Red LED lights and signage at registers indicated active video monitoring, reinforcing security awareness for employees and customers. Panic buttons were also installed at key locations to provide instant alerts in emergencies.

With CHeKT Visual Verification, operators can instantly verify alarms, reduce false dispatches, and ensure that police prioritize calls as crimes in progress. The franchise owner conducted a full walk test after installation and was impressed by the monitoring center’s speed and precision.
Years later, the system continues to deliver value. While no panic events have occurred, the monitoring team successfully managed an incident where a customer entered through an unlocked door after hours — quickly determining no emergency response was needed.
